An update for previous slides

Due to their comfortable wear, slides were all the hype throughout the previous season. Now, the classic slide is taking a sleeker and more stylized look. Revived is the house-slippers that we associate with our grandparents basements. With homewear slippers increasing by +1.400% over the past year, consumers’ interest in the piece is visibly growing. Looking towards emerging forms across niche brands and luxury designers, lines are getting more streamlined and fully covered fronts experience more pronounced silhouettes. Similarly, the back part begins to slightly close or to be supported by a separate back strap or fastening. The new style might seem odd at first glance, but its minimal appeal merges well into contemporary aesthetics.
