SS23 Woman: Top Colors

SS23 sees colors turning away from the parade of dopamines that had captured the fashion world after the pandemic. Now, we anticipate a dual summer between a dramatic aesthetic in full blacks, next to a refreshing palette of reborn brights. New color hues are balancing serene pastels with new energizing and juicy, cyber hues. Big highlights across this range are sorbet, minty and peachy hues. Lavender remains as a soft essential, updated more bluish now, while peachy hues feel youthful and infiltrate most reddish and blush shades. As a big highlight of SS23, cobalt ocean blue is taking the lead and infusing us with a refreshing coolness. For the more neutral spectrum, next season sees muddy and dusty olives enriching the season as subtle greens. Beige seems to give way to those new pastels and softer olives now.  Brown is experiencing a growth in retro nuances with a more orange touch. Pink remains immensely important and next to the last signs of fuchsia, a lighter pink, reminiscent of barbie and the 2000s is dictating the color as a hue. Not to miss is purple as an update to the previous fuchsia-boom either, a color that in combination with red and black for a villainous dramatic look. Dig deeper in the report below:
