Capitalize on the right trends

Analyzing Fall Winter 2020 fashion shows, we can track some of the must have of next season. We order by index of grownth compared to FW19, but you can see on the left the quantity of outfits on the catwalk. The graph in the middle illustrates the trend over three consecutive seasons. In this way, on a statistical basis, it is possible to predict the must have trendy pieces and their  possible evolution.

Present on almost 800 looks on the catwalk, gloves are certainly the most trendy accessory for FW20. Especially long gloves with 159% of indew of growth compared to FW19. Then over-the-knee boots are very popular thanks to Balenciaga, Rick Owens, Balenciaga, Isabel Marant, Off-White. 461 pairs where worn on the FW20 catwalks. Last but not least, in this top 3, is the oversized bag. As Livetrend detected on the pre-falls, big bag were gaining positions towards tiny ones and definetly Bottega Veneta and Off-white are helping with their beautiful oversized styles.

Suits are still a must-have, playing it with a masculine style or a bourgeoise allure, skirt-suits are rising this season. Trousers in the other hand are wider: large legs are quantitatively the most relevant style, but we are going to see an exception with shining leggings thanks to Saint Laurent fashion show. The bourgeoise effect, is bringing back cape coats (+30%), floppy tie collars (+26%), shirt dresses (+25%), jacquard jumpers and cardigans (+2%). Poshness is broken by vibrant pieces of color, lattex shine, and not shy lingerie inspired pieces.
