Livetrend’s technology allows you to analyze runway pieces in detail to identify supplies, cuts, and those little things that make a piece special and unique, creating trends that can more easily be seen on the street. For winter 2020 Livetrend has detected by analyzing more than 7000 images the major trend of the chains. A great comeback that had already impacted the accessories and especially the bags of summer 2020. The chains are imposing in large mesh, in application on clothes, in jewelry, overlaying or cascading. The chains have increased by 106% compared to FW19.
The extra-long sleeves have been spotted in several fashion shows. More than 600 pieces were presented with this detail.
The high waist continues to be a must rather than a trend and more than 1000 pieces have been detected.
Strangely enough, cut-outs continue to be present for the winter, which is not the most suitable season for this kind of detail, with more than 300 pieces presented and an increase of 14%.
Interesting are the two final microtrends which are the cross collars and the U necklines. Already during the summer 2020 fashion shows, the more sharp decolletés had already taken on rounded and curved shapes. This winter 2020, thanks to Bottega Veneta, Fendi, Khaite, Victoria Beckham, this micro trend continues to flourish.
Cross necklines, on the other hand, are a real novelty of this winter and adopted here too by the top brands that are likely to set the trend.
