2018 saw the comeback of the ugly sneaker, which means 2019 will be the year they take over every corner of your Instagram feed. Designers like Gucci, Balenciaga and Steve Madden have embraced the clunky trainer trend and as usual premium market follows. Retailers are now releasing even more chunky kicks for spring/summer 2019 as sneaker specialists like Fila or Puma.
Data analysis reveals that the sneakers has increased by 13% compared to winter and represents on average 27% of the global offer of shoes in the spring summer 2019 collections.
These sneakers come in all colours, from pinks and blues to prints like zebra and leopard, but the most seen are multicolour ones.
All the e-shops present most of their outfits with sneakers, even very feminine or ceremony looks.
